Local overlay. Nothing leaves the machine.

PixelGrid Pro is a local design overlay. It does not collect accounts, analytics, or advertising identifiers.

Data stored on your device

The extension uses chrome.storage.local for overlay appearance (grid size, units, color, opacity, ruler preferences, shortcut style, inspect extras, toolbar position) and per-site guide positions, keyed by hostname.

That data stays in the browser profile. It is not transmitted to a PixelGrid server because this extension has no backend.

Permissions

• storage — remember settings and guides between sessions
• activeTab — run only on the tab you click the extension icon on
• scripting — inject the overlay into that tab when you turn it on

PixelGrid Pro does not request access to every website in advance. It does not read page forms, cookies, passwords, or browsing history beyond what is needed to draw an overlay on the current tab.

Outbound links

If you click Buy me a coffee or a Musa Studios link, the extension opens that page in a new tab. Those clicks are user-initiated. The extension does not send page contents, settings, or guides to those sites.
